Steve Braithwaite, as Consultant and Chairman of ASH Communications Ltd has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His responsibilities have covered a wide field including product design, engineering leadership, University research and consulting. He has significant experience in product areas such as satellite communications, ad-hoc meshed terrestrial voice and data networks and mobile wireless systems. As an engineering director and product manager for several telecommunications products, he has had experience in the ‘doing’ as well as knowledge of the ‘how and why’ in electronics.

Using his complementary experiences of University teaching and industrial product management he is a lead author for e-learning products for complex communications systems such as the GSM GPRS wireless packet data standard. He is also an experienced training author and presenter, who regularly receives top ratings for content, interest and enthusiasm.

He is in the practice of devoting significant time to stay current with sector advances. With his wide experience he is equipped to investigate, analyse and report on new product feasibility and to perform investor ‘technical due diligence’ assessments.
